I had same issue - the measurements seem to be wrong. The layers are paper thin if I divide this batter into 3 layers for 20cm pan

So I ended up throwing away the batter as the quantities are too small and I couldn’t make it work. There’s no way you can have 3 nice spongy layers for this cake with these quantities. I ended up using a random Swedish recipe for the cake (it was also for 20cm pan) and the flour it asked for was 300g and ended up perfect for 3 layers. I did use your recipe for the vanilla cream and it was amazing but something is off with the base…

Is the portions of the cake portion correct? I made it this morning and found that they seemed quite small but went with it anyway and only ended up getting 2 quite thin layers :( I whipped the eggs until it doubled in size but it still wasn’t enough to divide into 3 layers of cake.

Hi!! Shoot thanks for your note and sorry about that! I was hoping you'd be able to but I think this does need to be baked as one cake and cut after baking after all. Let me know if you give it another try and again so sorry!
