Monthly Picks: March
Cakes, body lotions, and the jacket I'm never taking off
Products
Crown Affair Smoothing Air Dry Cream: I’ve been trying to use less heat on my hair, and this has been a game-changer. It helps define my waves on the days I want really wavy hair, and it helps smooth it/add a little more texture when I want to brush them out a bit more.
Merit Lengthening Mascara: The only mascara I’ve been using, and way before this month. It’s a tubular mascara, which means it creates little tubes around your eyelashes. No fall-off, and super easy to wash off.
Amika Dry Shampoo: How have I never used this before! It doesn’t give your hair a weird texture, and it has no color, which is great, especially as a brunette.
Clothing
Staud Simone Jacket: I love clothes and shopping, but for some reason, I’ve always had a hard time finding jackets I love. I saw this jacket last year and loved it, but it was sold out. When I was looking for a new spring jacket, I remembered it existed, and luckily, they had restocked! I also love a high neck cause my chest tends to get so cold. It’s not cheap, but I’ve never loved a jacket more, and I’ll have it for years.
Guizio Genius Tee: I love a mini graphic tee, and this one is great cause it’s not cropped but still fitted. Was ofc influenced by Hailey Bieber.
Mini T-Shirt from Uniqlo: This is truly the perfect, affordable t-shirt, which I now have in 4 different colors. It is a little bit cropped, but they have a longer version as well. And it doesn't sit too tightly around the arms, which is a must for me.
Uni Body Serum: If you want to splurge on a body lotion, this one is amazing. It smells soo good (like summer/the sea), and goes on really lightly and doesn’t dry sticky.
Kitchen
Cheese slicer: It doesn’t have to be this one; I just love cheese slicers in general. Slicing your own cheese tastes so much better than pre-sliced cheese, and it’s perfect for breakfast plates or an afternoon open-faced sandwich.
Farmhouse Water Glass by AO Glass (my parents’ small business!): While I have lots of different drinking glasses from them, these are my most-used. As they’re handblown, they are a bit on the higher end, but they hold up really well and come in so many nice colors!
Holcomb Studio Stone Pepper Mill: It’s not cheap, but it’s SO good. You can adjust the size of the pepper that comes out, and it's an overall, really beautiful, well-made piece.

Cake From Lucie Cookbook: Lucie is an amazing baker from France who opened a bakery in NYC a few years ago, and is now coming out with her very own cookbook featuring lots of cake recipes! It comes out next week, but I got a sneak peek of it when we baked together, and I can’t wait to bake my way through it.
La Bicyclette Bakery: This is more of an overall favorite, but if you’re in the mood for a great latte, baguette, olive bread, a pastry, or a baguette sandwich, this is a great place. I always go to the one in Fort Greene, but they have a few different locations throughout Brooklyn.
